Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) announced on April 1, 2025, that it has received its second purchase order in the company's LiDAR-based R&D offering. This latest order comes from the Department of Aerospace Structures and Materials at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. The purchase order is for a Quantum Photonic Vibrometer (QPV) designed for sensing applications in challenging operational environments over a range of distances. Assistant Professor Dr. Vahid Yaghoubi played a crucial role in the technical evaluation, noting the QPV's advanced photon-counting capabilities, high sensitivity, and contactless measurement advantages over traditional LDVs. Dr. William McGann, CEO of QCi, stated that this order provides an opportunity to supply American-made technology to an esteemed international university, underscoring market demand for more sensitive and effective vibrometer solutions. The QPV operates at an eye-safe wavelength and can accurately characterize vibrational spectra with an amplitude as low as 110 nanometers.
