QuickLogic Corporation announced it has been selected by a new Defense Industrial Base company for an eFPGA IP contract valued at $1.1 million. The contract targets GlobalFoundries' 12LP, 12nm low-power process technology.
IP delivery for this contract is scheduled during the second quarter of 2025. QuickLogic CEO Brian Faith highlighted the company's three-decade reputation as a trusted supplier of SWaP-C-optimized programmable logic to the Defense Industrial Base.
Faith stated that QuickLogic's proven eFPGA Hard IP across multiple fabrication processes, including GlobalFoundries 12LP, enables rapid, design-specific solutions. This reduces program risk and capitalizes on the company's extensive development efforts and investments.
