Red Cat Holdings, Inc. announced several leadership updates to align its executive team with the company’s priorities for scaling operations and manufacturing. George Matus, Red Cat’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and founder of Teal Drones, is departing the company to take on the role of CTO at Vector.
Chris Rill, currently Director of Partner Integration, will transition to President of Teal Drones, a Red Cat subsidiary. In his new role, Rill will focus on scaling engineering and manufacturing, as well as developing process efficiencies to meet the large-scale demands of the U.S. Army and Red Cat’s global customers.
These leadership changes are significant as they aim to accelerate growth and operational readiness following the U.S. Army’s SRR Program win. While the departure of a key technology leader is notable, the company anticipates partnering with Vector and emphasizes the strategic importance of Rill's appointment for production ramp-up.
