Rail Vision Ltd. announced on January 7, 2025, the signing of a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sujan Ventures, a division of the Sujan Group, a technology and components supplier to the Indian rail industry. This collaboration aims to introduce Rail Vision’s advanced safety systems to the Indian market.

Indian Railways operates one of the world’s largest rail networks, with approximately 15,000 locomotives, presenting a substantial market opportunity for Rail Vision. Under the MOU, Sujan Ventures will lead local efforts, starting with a short trial of Rail Vision’s systems at customer facilities.

Following successful trials and customer approval, the parties intend to proceed with a definitive agreement, with Sujan Ventures having exclusive distribution rights in India during the MOU term. The agreement includes an initial upfront payment and additional milestone payments to Rail Vision, positioning its technologies for future tenders requiring thousands of locomotives to be outfitted with advanced safety systems.
