Christopher Krebs, SentinelOne's Chief Intelligence and Public Policy Officer, resigned from the company on April 16, 2025. His departure followed pressure from President Donald Trump, who signed an executive order targeting Krebs and entities associated with him, including SentinelOne. Krebs stated his decision was personal, allowing him to fully focus on what he described as a 'fight for democracy, for freedom of speech, and for the rule of law.' He had served at SentinelOne since late 2023, following the acquisition of his consulting firm. SentinelOne stated that fewer than 10 employees had security clearances and did not expect a material impact on its business. However, the company acknowledges in its financial reports that its future growth depends partly on increasing sales to government organizations and can be affected by policy changes.
