SpiceJet Limited announced on July 3, 2025, the receipt of the first two of its overhauled engines from global MRO provider StandardAero. These engines include a CFM LEAP-1B engine, which powers the Boeing 737 MAX and was overhauled at StandardAero's Houston, USA facility, and one Q400 engine, received from StandardAero's Singapore facility. This delivery is part of SpiceJet's broader fleet revival plan.

As part of this plan, SpiceJet had sent a total of 17 engines for overhaul, including six CFM LEAP-1B engines to StandardAero's Houston facility and seven Q400 engines to its Singapore facility. The airline expects a steady flow of additional engines in the coming months, reinforcing its commitment to restoring fleet capacity.

This event marks a significant delivery milestone for StandardAero, demonstrating its capability to support major airlines with critical engine MRO services across multiple platforms and global facilities. The successful overhaul and return of these engines contribute directly to SpiceJet's operational readiness and fleet utilization.
