StandardAero announced on April 22, 2025, that it has been selected by China Central Longhao Airlines, operating as Air Central, to provide CFM International CFM56-7B engine MRO services for its Boeing 737-800BCF freighter fleet. An initial Air Central CFM56-7B engine was inducted for a performance restoration shop visit at StandardAero's Winnipeg, MB facility last month.

This contract marks Air Central as the first Chinese customer to utilize StandardAero's CFM56-7B engine maintenance services. China represents a significant market, accounting for over 20% of the global installed CFM56-7B fleet, with more than 2,600 engines in service. StandardAero is a CFM-authorized CFM56-7B MRO provider with two full-service overhaul facilities.

The agreement further expands StandardAero's presence in the Chinese market, building on its recent CAAC maintenance approval for LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. This win reinforces the company's strategy to support Boeing 737NG operators in the region with responsive and cost-effective MRO solutions.
