Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) announced on June 5, 2025, that it has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement for the sale of its Puerto Rico television stations. The stations, WVEO(DT), WTCV(DT), and WVOZ-TV, will be acquired by Word of God Fellowship, Inc., known as Daystar Television Network.

This strategic divestiture is intended to reinforce SBS's focus on its core audio and digital businesses. The company aims to further serve and empower Hispanic audiences across the U.S. and Puerto Rico through its industry-leading radio portfolio and digital platforms, including the LaMusica app.

SBS Chairman and CEO, Raúl Alarcón, stated that this transaction is a decisive step in the company's long-term strategy to expand its core competency. SBS will maintain a strong presence in Puerto Rico through its top-rated radio stations, including Mega 106.9, La Nueva 94, Zeta 93, and Estereotempo 96.5.
