Following a trial in July 2024, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida found that Aveva's proposed product did not infringe Scilex's Orange Book-listed patents covering ZTlido.
Scilex stated its intention to vigorously pursue its infringement action on appeal, asserting its belief in the strength and validity of its ZTlido intellectual property and that Aveva is infringing on its patents.
