Steelcase Inc. reported second-quarter fiscal 2025 revenue of $855.8 million, which was approximately flat compared to the prior year's $854.6 million. On an organic basis, revenue grew 2 percent, driven by a 3 percent increase in the Americas segment, while the International segment experienced a 4 percent decline.
The company's adjusted earnings per share increased by 26 percent to $0.39, surpassing analyst estimates. Net income rose to $63.1 million, or $0.53 per share, from $27.5 million, or $0.23 per share in the prior year, benefiting from a $27.9 million gain on the sale of land.
Looking ahead to the third quarter of fiscal 2025, Steelcase expects revenue to be in the range of $785 million to $810 million, compared to $777.9 million in the prior year. The company projected adjusted earnings per share between $0.21 and $0.25, which is lower than the $0.29 reported in the third quarter of fiscal 2024.
