Steelcase Inc. reported third-quarter fiscal 2025 revenue of $794.9 million, a 2 percent increase compared to the prior year, but missed consensus estimates. Organic revenue grew 3 percent, driven by 7 percent growth in the Americas segment.
Adjusted earnings per share for the quarter were $0.30, exceeding expectations, and an increase from $0.29 in the prior year. However, net income decreased to $19.1 million, or $0.16 per share, from $30.8 million, or $0.26 per share in the prior year, which had benefited from a $9.5 million earnout liability decrease and $5.4 million in asset sale gains.
The International segment continued to face challenges, with an 8 percent organic revenue decline. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, Steelcase anticipates revenue between $770 million and $795 million, representing an organic decline of 4 to 7 percent, and adjusted earnings per share between $0.20 and $0.24.
