SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. announced the ramp-up of its new manufacturing site in Salt Lake City, Utah. This facility began manufacturing and shipping the SolarEdge 'USA Edition' Home Battery in Q1, marking a key milestone in the company’s commitment to strengthening its domestic supply chain.
This new site expands SolarEdge’s U.S. manufacturing footprint to three facilities, joining existing operations in Florida and Texas, and contributes to the creation of over 2,000 new jobs. The company now produces its full U.S. residential inverter, Power Optimizer, and battery product suite on American soil.
The domestically-produced SolarEdge Home Battery features a dedicated SKU for simplified tracking and is designed to support compliance with domestic content requirements across solar-plus-storage installations. This expansion reinforces America’s clean energy infrastructure with domestically produced technology and helps customers maximize energy savings.
