Space Flight Laboratory (SFL) confirmed the successful launch and deployment of HawkEye 360 Cluster 11, a three-satellite cluster. This marks the fourth cluster integrated by HawkEye 360 at its Virginia facility under the SFL Flex Production Program.
Cluster 11 was launched into a sun-synchronous orbit on December 21, 2024, from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, aboard the SpaceX Bandwagon-2 mission. Ground control has successfully established communications with all three satellites.
This launch brings the total number of satellites developed for HawkEye 360 by SFL to 33. SFL's expertise in attitude control and formation flying for multiple spacecraft is crucial for accurate RF signal geolocation, reinforcing HawkEye 360's position in space-based RF data and analytics.
