Shimmick Corporation announced on July 31, 2025, that it has been selected as preferred bidder on four new contracts for new and existing clients, totaling approximately $156 million. Electrical work accounts for $47 million of this total, reflecting growing demand for Shimmick’s integrated delivery solutions, which include civil, mechanical, and electrical self-perform capabilities. These projects are expected to be awarded and commence in the third quarter.
The projects include a $116 million River Trunk Realignment - River Pump Station project for the City of Modesto, a vital wastewater infrastructure upgrade. Another significant project is the $24 million OC San J-98 Power Distribution System Improvements for the Orange County Sanitation District, which will replace and modernize electrical distribution systems at two wastewater treatment plants.
Additional projects include an $8 million RD1001 Auxiliary Pump Station for Reclamation District 1001 in Nicolaus, CA, and an $8 million Perris Valley RWRF Aeration Basin Rehabilitation and Diffusers Replacement for the Eastern Municipal Water District. CEO Ural Yal stated that these projects underscore client confidence in Shimmick’s ability to deliver complex infrastructure solutions and align with the company's growth strategy in water and electrical infrastructure markets.
