Skechers Football launched the next generation of its signature boot, the Skechers SKX_2, across Europe on July 7, 2025, as part of the new CTRL^ pack. Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane debuted the white and turquoise boot at the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-finals.
The SKX_2 features an evolved design engineered for precise strike control, comfort, and an enhanced first touch. Harry Kane stated that the SKX_2 feels quicker, sharper, and better tuned for his game compared to the original SKX_01.
Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers, noted that the design incorporated feedback from elite pros and young academy players. This product innovation, along with the global launch campaign featuring Harry Kane and other Skechers pros, aims to deliver 'comfort that performs' and strengthen the brand's presence in football.
