SOS Limited entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SolarMax Technology, Inc. on December 10, 2024, to develop large-scale solar power and battery storage facilities across the United States. These facilities are intended to provide power for SOS's blockchain and cryptocurrency operations.

The MOU outlines the development of six separate facilities, each designed for approximately 50 megawatts of capacity, totaling an estimated 300 megawatts. These projects are planned for locations in Nevada, Texas, and Florida, aiming to establish a robust green energy infrastructure for SOS.

Under the proposed agreements, SolarMax Technology would be responsible for end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, including obtaining necessary permits and facilitating utility connections. SOS Limited will finance the EPC efforts and retain responsibility for compliance with local utility regulations.
