SunPower completed the integration of Sunder Energy’s salesforce, adding 266 new sales representatives to its team within 30 days of the acquisition announcement.

The acquisition of Sunder Energy for $40 million in cash and 10 million shares of common stock was intended to make SunPower the fifth largest U.S. residential solar company by installed megawatts. The integration expands SunPower’s market presence from 22 to 45 states and adds Sunder’s 893‑person dealer sales force, effectively doubling the total number of sales representatives to 1,734.

SunPower expects record revenue of $83.3 million and operating income of $3.5 million in Q4 2025, up from Q3 2025 revenue of $70.0 million and operating income of $3.12 million. The acquisition is projected to add $18.5 million per quarter to sales revenue starting in Q4 2025, with an additional $21.6 million per quarter in EPC revenue over the next 12 months.

The integration is expected to strengthen SunPower’s national sales presence and support its goal of achieving profitability. Management highlighted the low‑overhead revenue model and state‑of‑the‑art sales processes of Sunder as key drivers of the expected performance gains.
