Scholar Rock announced the appointment of Rebecca McLeod to the newly created role of Chief Brand Officer and U.S. General Manager. In this position, Ms. McLeod will lead the anticipated U.S. commercial launch of apitegromab for patients with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
Ms. McLeod will also be responsible for establishing the global apitegromab brand strategy and market positioning across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. She brings 25 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry experience, including leading market access, distribution, and sales for argenx's successful VYVGART launch.
