This collaboration will integrate ST’s electroneurography (ENG)-enabled biosensor chips and Pison’s natural language gesture control stack into Timex’s upcoming devices.
STMicroelectronics worked with Pison to miniaturize and reduce the cost of the neural sensor to fit into a consumer watch form factor. Timex plans to develop the next generation of neurocognitive wearable devices, with Timex-branded products 'powered by Pison' expected to roll out in the spring.
