Suncor Energy reported an increase in its oil and gas production for the fourth quarter of 2024. Upstream quarterly production rose to 874,000 barrels per day, compared to 808,000 barrels per day during the same quarter in the previous year.
The company's refinery operations also demonstrated strong performance. Refinery throughput increased by 31,000 barrels per day, reaching 487,000 barrels per day during the quarter.
Refinery utilization saw a notable jump to 104% in Q4 2024, up from 98% in the prior year. These figures highlight Suncor's operational efficiency and capacity utilization across its integrated assets.
