Silvercorp Metals Inc. reported significant assay results from its ongoing diamond drilling program at the LMW underground mine within the Ying Mining District in China. Highlights include a drill hole (ZKX1019) that intersected 34 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 31 g/t silver, and 4.45% copper over a 0.82-meter interval of vein LM28.
Another notable intercept from hole ZKX1613 revealed 2,705 g/t silver and 0.67% lead over an 18.02-meter interval of vein W18W. These results demonstrate the presence of high-grade mineralization across multiple metals, expanding the known resource potential at LMW.
From June 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, the company completed 78,980 meters of diamond drilling and 15,694 meters of exploration tunneling at the LMW mine. This extensive program focused on expanding high-grade veins and delineating new structures, supporting the organic growth strategy at the Ying Mining District.
