Tri Counties Bank Awards $260,000 in Economic Development Grants

Tri Counties Bank, in collaboration with the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBank San Francisco), announced grant awards totaling $260,000. These grants are part of the Access to Housing and Economic Assistance for Development (AHEAD) Program. The grants were distributed to three organizations: Alchemist Community Development Corporation (Alchemist CDC) received $50,000, Jefferson Economic Development Institute (JEDI) received $110,000, and the Kashia Band of Pomo Indians of the Stewarts Point Rancheria received $100,000. These funds are designated to support business entrepreneurship and housing stabilization programs. The initiatives aim to boost local programs addressing community needs and creating opportunities for underserved populations in Northern California. Alchemist CDC's grant will support its public market, JEDI's will launch a culinary entrepreneurship program, and the Kashia Band of Pomo Indians' will provide job training and housing stabilization services.
