TD Bank announced the launch of its Amazon Shop with Points program for U.S. credit‑cardholders, a feature that lets customers redeem accumulated points instantly at checkout on Amazon.com. The service became available immediately on November 19, 2025, allowing cardholders to use their rewards for everyday purchases without transferring points to a separate portal.

The program is available on several TD Bank credit cards, including the TD Cash, TD Cash Secured, TD Double Up, TD Business Solutions, and TD First Class cards. Cardholders can apply their points to any eligible Amazon purchase, with the points automatically deducted from their balance at the time of checkout, simplifying the redemption process and encouraging more frequent card use.

TD Bank’s leadership highlighted the launch as part of a broader digital strategy aimed at increasing customer engagement and loyalty. By partnering with Amazon, the bank taps into a widely used e‑commerce platform, addressing a key customer desire for convenient redemption options. The timing—just before the holiday shopping season—positions the feature to drive higher transaction volume and card usage during a period of peak consumer spending.

The move places TD Bank in direct competition with other financial institutions that offer instant‑redemption or partner‑based rewards programs. While competitors such as Chase and American Express have similar Amazon‑linked options, TD’s integration is unique in that it applies to a broader range of its credit‑card products and is available to both consumer and business cardholders. This breadth is intended to strengthen the bank’s competitive stance in the rewards‑centric credit‑card market.

Chris Fred, Head of U.S. Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending at TD Bank, said, “We’re thrilled to bring Amazon Shop with Points to our U.S. customers in time for the holidays. We consistently hear cardholders say that ease of redemption is important to them, and we hope this helps to take some of the stress out of the holiday season by making reward redemption as frictionless as possible.”
