Teradata reported first quarter 2025 financial results, meeting its outlook for all key metrics. Total revenue was $418 million, a 10% decrease year-over-year on a reported basis and 8% in constant currency. Recurring revenue declined 8% to $358 million, while consulting services revenue decreased 28% to $50 million.
Public Cloud Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) grew 15% year-over-year on a reported basis to $606 million, and 16% in constant currency. Total ARR, however, decreased 3% to $1.442 billion, or 2% in constant currency, compared to the prior year.
The company's non-GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) for Q1 2025 was $0.66, exceeding $0.57 in Q1 2024. Teradata reaffirmed its full-year 2025 guidance for Cloud ARR growth in the range of 14% to 18% in constant currency and total ARR growth of flat to 2% in constant currency, while updating non-GAAP diluted EPS to $2.15 to $2.25.
