Teladoc Health and TytoCare have entered a partnership that will integrate TytoCare’s FDA‑cleared Home Smart Clinic into Teladoc’s Primary360 and 24/7 Care programs, creating a new remote‑physical‑exam capability for patients at home.

The Home Smart Clinic is a handheld device that lets clinicians perform lung, throat, ear, heart, skin and temperature assessments during a virtual visit. TytoCare’s AI‑powered Lung Sounds Suite, which has been cleared by the FDA and trained on more than 7 million exams, will be embedded in Teladoc’s platform to provide real‑time diagnostic insights.

The integration is slated to begin in 2026, with a phased rollout to select customers throughout that year. By combining TytoCare’s proven diagnostic technology with Teladoc’s large member base and care‑orchestration platform, the partnership aims to reduce unnecessary emergency‑room visits and improve outcomes for chronic conditions such as asthma and hypertension.

Teladoc’s recent financial results show a decline in revenue and a net loss, with adjusted EBITDA falling year‑over‑year. The company has also recorded goodwill impairment charges related to its BetterHelp segment. In this context, the TytoCare partnership represents a strategic effort to broaden Teladoc’s service portfolio, generate new revenue streams, and strengthen its competitive position in the growing home‑based care market.

“Together, we are redefining what virtual primary and urgent care looks like… turning the home into the true front door of care,” said Dedi Gilad, CEO and co‑founder of TytoCare. Gilad added that the collaboration combines Teladoc’s scale and trusted clinical services with TytoCare’s proven ability to conduct physical exams remotely.

Analysts have maintained coverage of Teladoc with mixed ratings, reflecting the company’s ongoing challenges and the potential upside of the new partnership. No significant change in analyst sentiment has been reported following the announcement.

The partnership positions Teladoc to capture a larger share of the virtual primary and urgent‑care segment while driving higher utilization and cost savings for health plans and employers. The 2026 rollout will allow the company to test the integrated solution with early adopters and refine the offering before a broader deployment.

Overall, the collaboration is a material step toward expanding Teladoc’s remote‑care footprint, leveraging advanced diagnostics to improve patient outcomes and create new revenue opportunities in a competitive market.
