Each new leader will oversee local stations in a dedicated geographic region, focusing on the quality, depth, and relevance of coverage, and emphasizing local impact. They will also each oversee a specific content priority, such as weather coverage, investigative journalism, or morning news strategy.
These appointments follow the company’s recent announcement to add more than 100 hours of new daily streaming programming across 51 markets. The new VPs will work closely with general managers and news directors to strengthen storytelling and coverage capabilities, fostering cross-station collaboration.
