Toast Unveils New Mobile Innovations to Boost Restaurant Revenue and Brand Loyalty

Toast announced its Fall Product Release on October 8, 2024, introducing new mobile features designed to help restaurants generate revenue and strengthen their brand presence. Key innovations include a Branded Mobile App and SMS Marketing capabilities, which aim to deepen engagement with diners through mobile devices.

The new Branded Mobile App allows restaurant owners to launch customizable iOS and Android apps that integrate with online ordering, POS, and loyalty programs. Guests who order through these branded apps are four times more likely to be repeat customers compared to those ordering via a restaurant's website, indicating a significant boost in customer retention.

Additionally, Toast introduced SMS Marketing, leveraging AI and automations to enable restaurants to send real-time marketing campaigns and promotional offers to subscribers. This feature has shown to be effective, with one early adopter, Dog & Bull Taphouse and Kitchen, generating an average of $34 in sales per automated text sent.
