Fisk Electric Awarded $99 Million for Second Phase of New Harris Health Hospital Project

Tutor Perini Corporation announced on April 30, 2025, that its subsidiary, Fisk Electric Company, has been awarded the second phase of the new Harris Health hospital project in Houston, Texas. This phase is valued at approximately $99 million, bringing the total contract value for electrical services to approximately $166 million.

Fisk Electric's scope of work includes the core and shell, as well as tenant finish-out electrical and fire alarm components for the ground-up construction of the new hospital tower and podium. The new 14-story hospital is slated to become Harris County’s third Level I trauma center and is expected to open in late 2028.

Work on the second phase commenced in March 2025, with substantial completion of the entire electrical contract anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2028. The $99 million funding for this phase was added to the company’s backlog in the first quarter of 2025, with an additional $38 million for the final phase expected later this year.
