Tetra Tech, Inc. announced that Uisce Éireann, Ireland’s national water utility, selected the company as part of a joint venture to provide technical services. The project aims to expand water treatment capacity and the distribution network in Ireland.

Tetra Tech will apply its 'Leading with Science' approach to design high-end, environmentally sustainable water infrastructure for the Water Supply Project, Eastern and Midlands Region. Teams will leverage evidence-based solutions to develop a new water treatment plant, pumping stations, and over 170 kilometers of pipeline network.

This critical national infrastructure project is expected to help address the water supply needs for up to 50 percent of Ireland’s population. Dan Batrack, Chairman and CEO, noted Tetra Tech’s RPS operations have decades of experience supporting water infrastructure improvements across Ireland.
