Tetra Tech, Inc. announced that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) selected the company for a $5 billion, multiple-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. This 10-year contract is designed to support global democracy initiatives.
Under this agreement, Tetra Tech will assist USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives in addressing complex governance and resiliency challenges in developing countries worldwide. Technical experts will utilize evidence-based approaches to strengthen local engagement, revitalize critical infrastructure, and enhance access to essential public services like clean water supplies.
Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech Chairman and CEO, noted the company's four decades of supporting USAID in strengthening local governance systems. This contract extends Tetra Tech's role in fostering strong democracies globally.
