On Monday, October 27, 2025, TETRA Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TTI) announced that Senior Vice‑President and Chief Financial Officer Elijio Serrano will retire effective March 31, 2026. Serrano will remain with the company as an advisor to CEO Brady Murphy, ensuring a smooth handover of financial leadership.

Serrano, who has guided TETRA through significant industry challenges including the COVID‑19 pandemic, will be succeeded by Matt Sanderson, who is currently EVP and Chief Commercial Officer. Sanderson joined TETRA in November 2016 after a 19‑year career at SLB and has served as Senior Vice President of Energy Services from 2016 to 2022, playing a key role in establishing leadership in water management, flowback, and completion fluids and products.

His appointment aligns with TETRA’s ONE TETRA 2030 transformation plan, reinforcing the company’s focus on disciplined capital allocation and growth initiatives.

The transition is designed to maintain continuity in financial governance and support TETRA’s strategic objectives without disruption, underscoring the company’s commitment to stable leadership during its ongoing transformation.
