The Board of Directors of TXNM Energy has announced a significant executive leadership transition, effective July 1, 2025. Current Chief Executive Officer Pat Collawn will transition to the role of Executive Chair of the Board of Directors.
Concurrently, Don Tarry, the current President and Chief Operating Officer, will assume the position of President and CEO of TXNM Energy. This transition is part of a long-standing succession plan, ensuring continuity in the company's strategic direction.
Pat Collawn has led TXNM Energy as President and CEO since March 2010, transforming the company with a focus on regulated utilities and achieving 72% carbon-free generation capacity in 2024. Don Tarry brings extensive experience, having served in various leadership roles since joining the company in 1996, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
