Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, announced on May 29, 2025, the first delivery of its flagship Cessna Citation Longitude super-midsize business jet into Central America. The aircraft was delivered to a long-time Citation customer based in Costa Rica, who plans to use it for business and personal travel.
Marcelo Moreira, vice president, Sales, Latin America, highlighted the Citation Longitude's extended range and outstanding speed, which enable customers to travel farther with ease. The aircraft is designed around pilot experience, passenger comfort, and overall performance, earning its designation as the flagship of the Citation family.
With a range of 6,482 kilometers (3,500 nautical miles) and a full fuel payload of 726 kilograms (1,600 pounds), the Longitude offers a quiet, spacious cabin with a flat floor and six feet of height. Over 30 Cessna Citation business jets are currently operating among the more than 100 Cessna turbine aircraft in Central America.
