Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, announced on April 23, 2025, that its new Career & Learning Center is complete and fully operational. Strategically located on the company’s East Wichita Campus, this state-of-the-art facility expands the training footprint to over 75,000 square feet.
This more than $40 million project is a significant investment in building the next generation of aviation manufacturing, support, and professional talent. The center provides a world-class employee experience during the application, hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
The facility is divided into four zones: Career, Pre-Employment, Learning, and Design. Build. Fly. Zone, which includes a simulated manufacturing floor for hands-on experience. The state of Kansas awarded Textron Aviation $3,325,000 for a portion of the facility construction through the Aviation Learning Opportunities & Funded Training (ALOFT) grant.
