On November 24, 2025, United States Antimony Corporation (UAMY) completed the first ore delivery of 2025 from its Stibnite Hill mine in Montana. Truck number 50, the most recent of a series of shipments, transported raw antimony ore to the company’s Thompson Falls smelter, marking the start of a new production cycle for UAMY’s domestic antimony operations.

The Stibnite Hill mine, which began exploration and bulk sampling in October 2025 after securing permits, has already removed approximately 800 tons of ore to date. Truck #50’s arrival represents the first of several planned deliveries that will feed the smelter’s 15‑million‑pound annual capacity.

UAMY’s move to bring ore in‑house is a key element of its vertically integrated strategy, designed to reduce dependence on third‑party suppliers and improve cost control. By owning the entire value chain—from mining to smelting—the company can better manage ore quality, scheduling, and input costs, strengthening its competitive position as the only fully integrated antimony producer in North America.

The shipment also signals progress toward UAMY’s long‑term expansion plans in Montana. The company has secured a $245 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency for antimony metal ingots and a commercial contract for antimony trioxide, totaling $352 million in long‑term revenue. Management has raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to $125 million, reflecting confidence in the ramp‑up of domestic production and the demand for antimony in defense and industrial applications.

Antimony is classified as a critical mineral by the U.S. Geological Survey, and U.S. reliance on Chinese production has highlighted the strategic importance of domestic sources. UAMY’s first ore delivery therefore not only advances its own operational goals but also contributes to national security objectives by reducing supply chain vulnerability.
