Uber Eats has added Shake Shack Canada to its delivery platform, beginning with the flagship Toronto location and soon including the Vaughan Mills outlet that opened on October 28, 2025. The move brings a premium fast‑casual brand to the service’s Canadian roster and expands Uber Eats’ reach in the Greater Toronto Area.
The partnership reflects Uber Eats’ strategy to diversify beyond traditional food delivery by offering high‑profile, branded experiences. Shake Shack, which launched its first Canadian location in June 2024 and was formed in 2023 through a partnership between Osmington Inc. and Harlo Entertainment Inc., is targeting at least 35 locations across Canada. By joining Uber Eats, Shake Shack gains a new channel to reach Toronto consumers and increase order volume while Uber Eats strengthens its premium offering and customer base.
In Canada, Uber Eats holds a 54% market share, with DoorDash close behind at 49%. Adding Shake Shack is expected to boost Uber Eats’ order volume and average order value, helping the platform compete more effectively against DoorDash and other local services such as SkipTheDishes. The partnership also positions Uber Eats to capture a share of the growing demand for premium fast‑casual dining delivered to home and office.
"Uber Eats is giving Canadians more restaurant options and making it easier to enjoy the foods they love without leaving home," said Lola Kassim, General Manager of Uber Eats Canada. "Welcoming Shake Shack to the Uber Eats platform allows us to expand our premium restaurant selection and bring a fan‑favourite international brand to more diners across Toronto and the GTA."
"Toronto has embraced Shake Shack with incredible enthusiasm since we arrived last year. We're excited to partner with Uber Eats to bring our signature ShackBurgers, crinkle‑cut fries and more to doors across the GTA," said Billy Richmond, Business Director at Shake Shack Canada. "From a quick lunch to a family dinner or a casual weekend bite, enjoying the signature flavours and quality ingredients Shake Shack is known for has never been easier."
The partnership is a strategic milestone for both companies: Uber Eats gains a high‑traffic, brand‑loyal customer base, while Shake Shack expands its delivery footprint in a key Canadian market. The collaboration is expected to drive higher revenue and customer engagement for Uber Eats and accelerate Shake Shack’s growth toward its 35‑location goal.
