Uber Eats has integrated its restaurant ordering platform into the Kroger app, allowing shoppers to add meals to their grocery cart and order delivery through Uber Eats. The integration covers more than 2,600 Kroger stores nationwide and will launch in early 2026.

The partnership extends Uber One benefits to Kroger Boost members, offering a six‑month free trial of Uber One and additional rewards such as 6% cash back, $0 delivery fees, and up to 10% off Uber Eats orders.

Uber will also enable customers to shop and schedule delivery from over 2,600 Kroger locations via the Uber Eats app starting early next year, expanding Uber’s reach into the grocery‑delivery market.

Uber’s Q3 2024 Delivery segment revenue grew 18% YoY to $3.5 billion, and Delivery Adjusted EBITDA increased 52% YoY, underscoring the company’s focus on expanding its grocery offering. Kroger’s Q3 2023 total sales were $34.0 billion, a slight decline from $34.2 billion YoY, with operating profit of $912 million.

Management highlighted that the collaboration will deepen customer engagement by combining Kroger’s retail footprint with Uber’s delivery network, creating a seamless omnichannel experience. Kroger’s chief digital officer noted that embedding restaurant delivery into its app will drive incremental households and shopping occasions, while Uber’s global head of delivery emphasized the partnership’s role in positioning Uber as a “super app” for consumer needs.

The deal places Uber in direct competition with Instacart and DoorDash, both of which have existing relationships with Kroger. By leveraging its extensive delivery network, Uber aims to capture a larger share of the rapidly growing online grocery market, which is projected to expand significantly in the coming years.
