UL Solutions Inc. announced several new ULTRUS software releases designed to help companies ensure compliance and advance sustainability goals. The ULTRUS platform assists customers worldwide in managing complex regulations, enhancing product safety, and operationalizing sustainable practices.
Key releases include enhancements to WERCSmart, an essential part of ULTRUS software, to help retailers identify PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in products and collect documentation from manufacturers. This addresses rising concerns about these "forever chemicals" and supports product safety.
The company also launched a new Purchased Goods and Services module within the UL 360 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Sustainability platform, simplifying Scope 3, Category 1 emissions data management and reporting. Additionally, new capabilities were introduced to the UL 360 ESG Disclosures module to enable data management for International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) disclosures.
Further innovations include a new AI feature, Windnavigator Resource Data and Maps, for Windnavigator software, which helps wind energy professionals find suitable wind farm sites. LearnShare software also introduced AI capabilities for automated learning content generation, improving efficiency for training and development professionals.
