U.S. Gold Corp. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gold King Corp., received final Air Quality Permit approval from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ) on November 18, 2024. This approval satisfied the last of three conditions associated with the Surface Gold Mine Permit, also known as the Mine Operating Permit, which was granted in April 2024.
The completion of this regulatory milestone allows the company to proceed toward the development of its CK Gold Project in Wyoming. CEO George Bee stated that this approval completes a major hurdle in the project's pathway to development.
The company is well advanced in its engineering studies and is poised to move toward development once optimization studies are complete. An optimized prefeasibility study is underway and expected to be released by the end of 2024, before finalizing the remaining work on the Feasibility Study.
