U.S. Gold Corp.'s wholly-owned subsidiary, Gold King Corp., executed an engineering and procurement contract with Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power (CLFP) on August 27, 2025. This contract is the first step toward the construction of a powerline to serve the CK Gold Project in southeast Wyoming.
CLFP is expected to begin pre-construction planning, engineering, and procurement activities to provide the anticipated 30MW of power needed by the project. This agreement secures a critical infrastructure component for the CK Gold Project, advancing its development towards construction.
Kevin Francis, Vice President of Exploration & Technical Services, noted that CLFP has provided excellent engineering support and power solutions for the project, which will enhance its overall operational efficiency.
