Energy Fuels Inc. announced on July 1, 2025, that its Pinyon Plain uranium mine in Arizona continued to significantly exceed previous production estimates during June 2025. The mine produced 230,661 pounds of U3O8 in June, contributing to a total of 638,700 pounds of U3O8 mined in Q2-2025. The elevated mining rates were primarily driven by high uranium grades, which averaged 3.51% U3O8 in June and 2.23% U3O8 for the second quarter. This performance reinforces the company's belief that Pinyon Plain is one of the highest-grade uranium deposits to be mined in the U.S. in decades. In Q2-2025, Energy Fuels sold 50,000 pounds of U3O8 on the spot market at an average price of $77.00 per pound. The company expects to complete increasing levels of uranium sales in the coming quarters, including 140,000 pounds in Q3 and 160,000 pounds in Q4 under existing long-term utility contracts, with 2026 sales projected between 620,000 and 880,000 pounds.
