Venu Holding Corporation hosted the official groundbreaking event for The Sunset Amphitheater powered by EIGHT Elite Light Beer in McKinney, Texas, on Friday, June 13, 2025. The ceremony welcomed 500 officials, sponsors, partners, investors, and live music fans.
The 20,000-seat facility, located on 46 acres, is slated to open in the third quarter of 2026 and will be a premium live music venue in Texas. The $300 million venue is projected to generate over $3 billion in economic impact over its first 10 years of operation, spurring job creation and local tourism.
The multi-seasonal, ultra-luxe venue is being developed as part of a public-private partnership and will feature a flexible configuration for year-round programming, premium LuxeFire Suites, and the exclusive members-only Aikman Club. Elevated food and beverage offerings will be provided through a newly announced strategic partnership with Aramark Sports + Entertainment.
