On 21 October 2025, VEON Ltd. announced that its Kazakh operating unit, Beeline Kazakhstan, will acquire 100 % of OLX Kazakhstan from OLX Group for a total consideration of USD 75 million. The transaction, announced today, marks a strategic expansion of VEON’s digital ecosystem into the online classifieds market.
OLX Kazakhstan currently serves approximately 10 million monthly active users and hosts 3.6 million listings, attracting more than 52 % of the country’s active internet users. By integrating this platform, Beeline Kazakhstan will broaden its service offering, deepen customer engagement, and unlock cross‑sell opportunities across its existing telecom and digital services portfolio.
The acquisition aligns with VEON’s DO1440 strategy to grow direct digital revenues and enhance multiplay customer value. Adding a high‑penetration classifieds platform is expected to accelerate revenue diversification, increase average revenue per user, and reinforce VEON’s position as a leading digital operator in frontier markets.
