Valens Semiconductor announced that Yoram Salinger will become its chief executive officer, effective November 13, 2025. Salinger joins the company after leading Perception Point, a cybersecurity firm acquired by Fortinet in 2024, and previously serving as CEO of Red‑Bend Software, which was acquired by Harman International in 2015.

The transition follows the planned departure of current CEO Gideon Ben‑Zvi, who will remain on the board of directors. Ben‑Zvi has led Valens since 2020, overseeing the company’s initial public offering, the launch of the VA6320 and VA7000 chipsets, and securing design wins with major automotive manufacturers.

Valens reported five consecutive quarters of revenue growth, with revenue rising 12% year‑over‑year to $120 million in the most recent quarter. The company remains unprofitable, reporting a diluted earnings per share of –$0.31 for the quarter, but management highlighted strong demand in professional audio‑video, automotive, industrial, and medical markets.

Salinger’s appointment is intended to accelerate Valens’ growth trajectory and deepen its presence in the automotive sector, where the company has secured design wins for its MIPI A‑PHY‑compliant VA7000 chipsets and is partnering with Mobileye and Samsung Electronics on next‑generation sensor connectivity.

The board also announced that Dr. Eyal Kishon and Dror Jerushalmi will step down, while Igal Rotem has joined the board. The changes are expected to maintain continuity while bringing fresh strategic focus to Valens’ high‑performance connectivity business.
