Valens Semiconductor announced that its VA7000 MIPI A-PHY-compliant chipsets have been selected by Mobileye for its EyeQ6 High automated and autonomous production programs. These programs are underway with a group of global automotive brands.
The selection positions Valens' chipsets as the in-car, sensor-to-compute connectivity infrastructure for these advanced driving applications. This marks a significant milestone for the MIPI A-PHY standard, as the automotive industry continues to coalesce around this global standard for high-speed connectivity.
The partnership with Mobileye, a leader in autonomous driving solutions, provides strong validation for Valens' technology and its ability to meet the demanding requirements of next-generation ADAS systems. Integration into vehicles is expected to begin in 2026.
