Valens Semiconductor announced that Gideon Ben Zvi will conclude his tenure as Chief Executive Officer by the end of 2025, or until a new CEO is appointed. Mr. Ben Zvi will continue to contribute to Valens as a board member following his departure.
His retirement follows the successful achievement of several key milestones during his leadership. These include the commercial launch of the VA6320 chipset, securing three design wins for Valens' MIPI A-PHY-compliant VA7000 chipsets with major European car OEMs, and a strategic collaboration with Mobileye.
Additionally, under his leadership, Valens partnered with ESWIN for joint MIPI A-PHY offerings in China and established the new Cross Industry Business (CIB) segment. The board expressed gratitude for his significant contributions over the past five years.
