Teletrac Navman, a Vontier company, is deploying next-generation AI-enabled Smart Dashcams across the Canal & River Trust's fleet. The Canal & River Trust is a charity managing canals, rivers, and locks in England and Wales.
Over 500 Smart Dashcams will be installed across the geographically spread fleet to support improvements in safety and driver training, and to help shield against rising insurance premiums. These dashcams are both forward and driver-facing, providing a comprehensive view of driving practices.
The unified view of video and telematics data will empower fleet managers to enhance driver safety in real-time through in-cab notifications and through informed coaching. This technology actively promotes safer driving practices and allows for bespoke training programs.
