VirTra, Inc. announced on October 1, 2025 that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has moved to full deployment of 20 previously purchased training simulators after successful field testing and validation at its training depot in Regina. The deployment marks the completion of the approval and certification process, allowing the systems to be formally certified for RCMP use and eligible for dissemination to other federal, provincial, and municipal agencies across Canada.
The 20 training systems were purchased in prior years, with revenue recognized in 2023 and 2024. During a week of rigorous testing, VirTra’s new S&W 5946 Recoil Kit and Advanced Skills Magazines received full approval from RCMP trainers and recruits. The recoil kit provides lifelike recoil for standard service weapons, while the Advanced Skills Magazines simulate reloads, malfunctions, and other handling skills, enhancing realism and training effectiveness.
This milestone expands VirTra’s footprint in the Canadian market and positions the company for potential future system purchases throughout Canada. The successful validation and full deployment demonstrate the reliability and effectiveness of VirTra’s simulation technology, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner for premier law enforcement training worldwide.
