This new, streamlined rheometer is designed for routine manufacturing quality control and assurance laboratories, capable of handling diverse material types such as battery slurries, printing inks, food, and personal care products.
The Discovery Core Rheometer expands Waters' rheology portfolio by offering superior performance at an affordable price, delivering up to 2x lower torque sensitivity compared to commercial viscometers and other similarly appointed rheometers. Its compact design requires half the bench space of comparable modular rheometers, attributed to its self-contained temperature control and electronics.
The instrument is equipped with the new RheoGuide Software user interface, which provides self-guided training applications and pre-defined methods for easier sample setup and faster data analysis. The Discovery Core Rheometer is orderable immediately, with worldwide availability expected in the first quarter of 2025.
