Western Digital announced on May 7, 2025, the appointment of Kris Sennesael as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective May 12, 2025. Sennesael brings over 25 years of experience in finance and general management from the semiconductor and technology industries.
Prior to joining Western Digital, Sennesael served as CFO at Skyworks Solutions, where he contributed to scaling the business through organic and inorganic growth strategies. He also held CFO positions at Enphase Energy and Standard Microsystems.
In his role, Sennesael will lead Western Digital’s global finance organization, including finance, accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, internal audit, corporate real estate, and investor relations. CEO Irving Tan expressed confidence that Sennesael's expertise and leadership will strengthen the company's position and balance investment for innovation with operational efficiency to create sustainable shareholder value.
